Terms and Conditions of Entry

Entry to our facility is conditional on members and visitors complying with our terms and conditions below. 

 

  • We want everyone to feel welcome at Lords. Please treat all patrons, staff and casual visitors with respect. Please do the same for all property, equipment, and facilities.
  • Lords is a multi-facility venue. Each area of Lords has its own entry conditions, so please make sure to read and abide by the associated terms for each space.
  • Children under the age of 12 must be supervised by an adult at all times.
  • There is strictly no alcohol to be brought into the centre. Patrons who do so will be asked to leave immediately.
  • Please ensure shoes and appropriate clothing are worn throughout the centre at all times.
  • Please do not pull, sit on, bounce or hang on the sports court nets.
  • Please be mindful of other patrons’ privacy, and avoid taking photos or videos without the permission of those included.
  • Photography and filming may occur during some activities by authorised City of Subiaco photographers for promotional purposes. By entering the venue, patrons give consent to photographs or videos being captured. If you do not wish to have your photo taken, please let one of our friendly team members know.
  • You are responsible for any personal items you bring into Lords. Please ensure items are not left unattended and, and make use of the lockers wherever possible.
  • Warming up, running and playing sports are not permitted in the walkways.
  • Lords is a smoke and vape free facility. Smoking or vaping is not permitted inside the centre, or within five metres of the building. This is inclusive of electronic cigarettes, personal vaporisers, electronic nicotine delivery systems or other battery powered vaporisers.
  • Please note that security cameras operate throughout the facility.
  • Lords is a pet free venue. Service animals are the only furry friends allowed in the centre.
  • By entering the venue, you are agreeing to comply and cooperate with the conditions of entry. 
  • Age is just a number, but you must be 16 years or older to use the gym solo. Members 14 and 15 years old must have a parent or guardian with them at all times.
  • You’re here to sweat, right? Please make sure you have a towel with you at all times.
  • Strictly no tailgating. Each person must scan their own fob to enter the gym. If you require a gym pass, please speak to the friendly team at reception.
  • Please make sure to wipe down any equipment with disinfectant provided once you have finished.
  • We have a great range of equipment and we would love you to try it all, but please ensure you put all equipment away when you’re done.
  • Pics or it didn’t happen! Our mirrors make for the perfect selfie. Please respect the privacy of others by not including them in your pictures without their permission.
  • Help us keep our floor and equipment in good condition by placing dumbbells and heavy weights down, instead of dropping them from a height.
  • Please make sure you wear appropriate clothing and enclosed shoes at all times.
  • To participate in any class, you must book in, either online, via the kiosk or at reception upon arrival.
  • We can’t wait to get a groove on, so we ask that you please arrive within five minutes of the start time of all classes.
  • Working up a sweat is what we’re here for, so please bring your drink bottle and a towel is mandatory.
  • You are welcome to keep your phone on you during classes, but we ask that you please minimise your mobile use where possible.
  • Age is just a number, but you must be 14 years or older to enter our Group Fitness studios.
  • Worked up an appetite? We aren’t surprised. Please wait until you have left the Group Fitness studios before you consume any food or drinks, aside from water.
  • Got baggage? Please lock any large bags, or items in our convenient change room lockers.
  • Keep it clean! Please wipe down any equipment you have used when you are done.
  • Please note that there are NO lifeguards on the pool deck at any time. Should you, or another patron need assistance, please press the duress alarm, located on the wall near the reception door.
  • All users of the pool must be wearing appropriate swimwear When swimming, please stay to the left of your lane to avoid any collisions.
  • Please follow the pool lane signs to ensure you are in the lane that is best suited to your needs.
  • Any large bags or personal items can be locked in our convenient lockers in the hallway or changerooms.
  • Please don’t run on the pool deck.
  • Strictly no diving into the pool.
  • Patrons must be 16 years or older to use the sauna.
  • Please note that this sauna is powered by electricity. Please do NOT pour water over the electrical element.
  • You must have a towel with you to enter the sauna.
  • It is recommended to shower before and after use.
  • Please do not use essential oils, fragrances, shampoos, or creams while in the sauna.
  • Personal grooming is not permitted in the sauna.
  • Clothing must be worn in the sauna, shoes are optional.

For your health and safety, we recommend the following protocols:

  • We recommend a maximum use of 10 minute intervals in the sauna.
  • Please remember to drink water while you are using the sauna.
  • Do not use the sauna if you are pregnant, suffer from high blood pressure, or have a heart condition.
  • If you have any underlying health conditions, it is recommended you seek advice from a health professional prior to using the sauna.
  • If you require assistance, please press the ‘Assistance Required’ button to notify a staff member.
  • We accept children aged eight weeks to six years of age, for a maximum of 120 minutes.
  • Please make sure you sign your child in with one of our friendly team members when you enter the crèche.
  • Help us in getting to know your little one by completing a Crèche Child Information Form if you are visiting the crèche for the first time.
  • Please make sure all of your child’s personal items are clearly labelled.
  • A parent or caregiver of the child must remain within Lords while they are in the crèche.
  • If your child becomes overly distressed, or displays unacceptable behaviour while in the creche, our team reserve the right to call you to collect your child, in the best interest of all involved.
  • If your child is unwell, please do not bring them to the crèche. Children displaying symptoms of flu, conjunctivitis, diarrhoea, vomiting, visible or infections sores, or any other obvious illness, will not be permitted entry to the crèche.
  • For children under the age of two, we ask that you please bring a pram or stroller. If they are still in nappies, please bring spare nappies, nappy sacks and a change of clothes.
  • Nuts are not permitted in the Lords Crèche. If your child has a known allergy to nuts, or anything else, please inform the friendly crèche staff at the time of enrolment.
  • Children will only be discharged to the parent or caregiver who signed them in, unless prior arrangements have been made with the crèche staff.
