This September, challenge yourself to see how long you can skip for without stopping.
Skipping improves strength in the whole body, especially in the core, legs and arms as theses muscles are heavily involved in the exercise. It is a perfect inclusion to any of your workouts. Speak to an instructor for tips and advice.
The challenge will be recorded on the gym whiteboard; every time you get a new record ask the gym instructor to update your score.
Workshop – Master the double under
Personal trainer Kathleen will demonstrate and discuss how to master the double under (two rotations of the jump rope per jump), providing participants with teaching points and a training program to help them master the move.
