We are beyond excited about the Premier’s recent announcement regarding phase three of WA’s roadmap to reopening. We’re currently looking at our best course of action and what this means for Lords and we’ll  make an announcement about our plans early next week.

On Tuesday 26 May, Lords will be reopening with a modified group fitness and pool use system available to current members only.

This page includes information about how to opt in for our COVID care membership, how to book in for a class and FAQs about phase two.

Opting in

 All members should have received a SMS with the option to opt in to our COVID care membership. If you didn’t receive this message and would like to opt in, please contact lords@subiaco.wa.gov.au and we will activate your COVID care membership as soon as we can (please allow up to two business days).
 
Once your COVID care membership is activated, you will receive a confirmation email, including information on how to book. Be sure to keep an eye on your junk folder.
 
A COVID care membership is a pay-per-class membership which allows members to pre book space and access the centre’s classes. You can download our reopening fitness timetable here.
 
There are no regular payments on this membership and your existing membership will remain frozen during this phase of reopening. You will be required to pay on the day for each class or session you attend, at a rate of $8 per group fitness class (including aqua) or $5 per pool session.


Booking in

 Once you have opted in to our COVID care membership, you will be able to book into group fitness classes and pool sessions. Please note that bookings open 12 hours prior to each class or session and size limits apply, so you may miss out on your preferred booking.
 

How to book

To book in for a class or session, please follow these instructions:

  1. Visit the booking portal on your phone or device.

  2. Register an account using your email address or the membership number included in your COVID care confirmation email.

  3. Check your email for a confirmation link, then create a new password and login.

  4. On the portal, select the ‘group fitness’ tile and scroll down to view the available sessions.

  5. Select the session you would like to book into. You will then receive an admission ticket. You may want to screenshot this ticket, to ensure it is readily available when you arrive at Lords.

  6. Arrive at Lords between 15 and 5 minutes prior to your booked session and present your admission ticket at the main entrance.

  7. You will be required to pay for your session at reception prior to class. Cashless payment is required.

Please ensure you read and understand these terms and conditions prior to booking in for a session. By booking in, you acknowledge that you have read, understood and agree to these terms and conditions.
 

 

 FAQs

I can’t access the booking portal, why is this?
It is essential to opt in to the COVID care membership prior to attempting to book in for a session. Only those who have opted in will be able to access the portal and book in. If you didn’t receive the opt in SMS, please contact lords@subiaco.wa.gov.au
 
My membership is currently suspended. Will I start getting charged?
No. All of our memberships will remain suspended for the time being, regardless of whether you opt in for COVID care or not. There’s nothing you need to do and you will not be charged.
Visit pass holders are also still on pause and your pass expiry will be extended to acknowledge this.
 
Are scheduled classes available for non-members?
No. This is available only to our current members at this stage.
 
Can I book myself in for more than one class per day?
With very limited services and in fairness to your fellow members we encourage you to book just one class per day.
 
The class I want to go to is not available, why is this?
Class bookings will become available 12 hours prior to the class or session. Group fitness sessions have a maximum of 20 spots and pool sessions have a maximum of 12 spots, so classes will likely fill up and unfortunately you may miss out on your preferred booking.
 
Can I bring someone with me?
No, unless that person is your carer. We will need to know in advance so that we can ensure we are keeping numbers to 20. Please contact lords@subiaco.wa.gov.au if you would like to visit Lords with a carer.
 
What should I bring for my class or pool session?
Please come to Lords dressed in your exercise or swimming clothing as you will not be able to use the change rooms. You should also bring your own water bottle (filled up) and exercise towel.

We suggest you bring something warm to put over your exercise clothes / bathers as you will need to leave Lords straight after your class/session finishes. You will not be able to shower after your class/swim.
 
Will the showers and lockers be available?
Only toilet amenities will be available during phase two.
 
What about the spa and sauna?
Not at this stage. We will reassess this in phase three.
 
Will the facility be open on the public holiday coming up on Monday 1 June?
No, our facility will not be open on this public holiday.
 
I’m concession card holder, student, senior card holder. Am I eligible for discount on the pay as you go fee?
No concessions are applicable during phase two, as we are already offering all members a discounted rate.
 
I’m a pool only member. Will my COVID care membership give me access only between 12:30pm and 3:30pm as per usual?
No, you will only be able to access the pool if you book in for an available session.
