Latest changes at Lords

Thank you for your patience over the last few weeks. The implementation of our new Leisure Management Software, Envibe, is on track and we have even more exciting changes to come.

The next stage of our project involves the installation of RFID (radio-frequency identification) locks on all lockers in the gym side change rooms. This means you will be now able to select and access your locker using your personal RFID wristband or fob – No more locker keys!

Questions:

When will the installation take place?

On Tuesday 18 and Wednesday 19 December.

Will there be any impact to change room access?

Yes. There will be reduced access to the change rooms while the installation takes place on the following days:

Tuesday 18 December

  • Women’s change rooms: Closed From 12pm to 4pm. Lockers unavailable from 12pm.
  • Men’s change rooms: Lockers will be unavailable from 7am.

Wednesday 19 December

  • Women’s change rooms: Closed until 3pm.
  • Men’s change rooms: Closed from 11am to 3pm. Lockers will be unavailable until 3pm.

What change rooms should we use during these times?

During the closure, our newly renovated squash walkway change rooms will be available for use.

How will I access a locker when the new RFID locks are installed?

Once the locks are installed, reception will allocate a RFID wristband or fob to every member. You will be able to scan your fob or wristband to select and access a locker, via the access control system on each locker in the change room.

If you have any further questions, please speak to a member of the Lords team or email lords@subiaco.wa.gov.au

Group fitness booking kiosk

You might have noticed the addition of a brand new group fitness booking kiosk at reception. This kiosk allows you to book in for the group fitness class (or classes) of your choice, without having to go to reception.

Simply type in your member number (or scan your wristband or fob) to log in, and select your class, print your receipt and present it to your instructor prior to the start of your class.

Class booking will open three hours prior to a class. Class entries are not permitted ten minutes after the start of a class, and we encourage you to avoid leaving classes before their conclusion.

Watch this space: The final stage of this new booking system will be online class bookings, so that you can book into your group fitness class via the website, before you come to Lords. We hope to have this implemented before Christmas.

Member photos

If it hasn’t happened already, next time to come to Lords you will likely be asked to take a new picture for your Envibe profile.

With the new system, new pictures are required, and keeping complete profiles for all our members is important in the running of Lords. It also helps to protect your membership.

If you have any specific preferences or want to take a picture at a certain time, our lovely reception staff will do their best to accommodate you.

We love to be able to see your smiling faces!
