Our brand new gym equipment from Technogym has arrived and is ready to be installed. To facilitate this, the gym will be closed from Thursday 16 December and will reopen on Monday 20 December. This is a very exciting time and we look forward to welcoming you back in our new look space!
Frequently Asked Questions
Will the equipment be the same as what we had before?
When we started the tender process for the equipment, we surveyed our gym users and found out what they love about our gym and what additions they wanted to see. We will be installing a similar range of pin and plate-loaded, a new range of free weights as well as some exciting additions with our new functional range!
Will the gym layout be the same? How will I find all the equipment I usually use in my work out?
The gym will have a different feel to it and equipment will be found in slightly different locations, however our gym team will be roaming the floor to assist you find what you need. Program transition sessions are available to ensure the changeover to the new equipment is as seamless as possible. If you would like to book a complimentary session, please get in touch with our gym team via email at firstname.lastname@example.org
with the subject line PROGRAM TRANSITION.
What other options do I have to work out while the gym is closed?

Why does the gym have to be closed?
Due to the extent of work that needs to be completed, removing heavy weight stacks, replacing sections of flooring and installing new equipment, it is simply not practical to have the gym operating during this time.
None of the alternatives work for me, what else can you offer while the gym is closed?
If you are saving yourself for the brand new equipment, we are more than happy to suspend your membership for the duration of the closure. This will not impact your regular membership suspension entitlements and will see you bright and early on Monday 20 December! Make sure you lodge your membership suspension forms by no later than Wednesday 15 December 5pm so the suspension can be processed. To do this, please head to the Lords memberships suspension page here
Please note: while your membership is suspended, you will be unable to use any facilities that remain operational (for example, pool, sauna or group fitness classes)
