COVID-19 Update: Effective Friday 29 April

As per the State Government’s latest announcement, public health and social measures are set to ease from Friday 29 April. The changes include the removal of masks in most settings, changes to density, capacity limits and proof of vaccination requirements, as well as new asymptomatic close contact protocols.

What does this mean for Lords?

We are pleased to announce that the following will take effect from Friday 29 April –

  • Masks will no longer be required to be worn inside the centre, however you may continue to wear your mask if it makes you feel comfortable

  • Proof of vaccination will no longer be a condition of entry to the centre

  • Checking in via the SafeWA or ServiceWA app or manual register upon entry will no longer be mandatory

Is it safe to attend Lords, and what measures do you have in place?

Your health and safety is our number one priority, and Lords is doing the following to keep you safe:

  • Social distancing continues to be encouraged. The equipment in the gym and cycle studio will remain in place

  • Regular additional cleaning throughout the centre and high touch points

  • Staff will continue to monitor ventilation through the gym

  • Good hand hygiene is always recommended. Hand sanitiser is readily available at multiple locations in the centre

How can the members and visitors help?

  • If you’re unwell, please stay home and isolate where necessary. Feel free to reach out to our memberships team if you need to put your membership on suspension due to illness – memberships@subiaco.wa.gov.au

  • Remember to wipe down your equipment in the gym and group fitness with the wipes and spray provided

  • Don’t forget your towel when in the gym and attending group fitness classes

  • Socially distance where possible

  • Be kind and remain understanding of other people and their preferences

Lords will continue to stay up to date with State Government requirements and industry trends to ensure the most effective processes are being followed.
