Welcome to the 360° 'virtual reality' panoramic gallery of Lords Sports Club.
On the floor plan below you will see lots of strategically located camera positions indicated by circular blue buttons. Just click on any one of them to be given a fantastic, interactive, 360° view right inside our club!
Please be patient though - each presentation requires a download of between about 300K and 500K, which will take between about 2 and 4 minutes on a standard 56K modem Internet connection. Give it a go - it'll be worth the wait, we promise!
For technical notes, see below the floor plan.
When you click on a button to view a panoramic image, what 'should' happen is that a new window 'pops up' on your screen. After 2-4 minutes (or less if you have a high-speed Internet connection) a still photograph will appear in this window, and very soon after the photograph will start rotating smoothly and continously though 360°. It will continue to rotate of its own accord until either you close the window, or you use the built-in control panel options to interact with it.
The technology used to display the panoramic images on your screen requires the use of a 'java applet'.
To quote from Webopedia...
"Because applets are small in file size, cross-platform compatible, and highly secure (can't be used to access users' hard drives), they are ideal for small Internet applications accessible from a browser."These panoramic images should display successfully, first time, on most people's computers. If they do not work on your computer, you need to look into ways of 'enabling java' and/or 'java virtual machine' on your computer. The procedure for doing this may vary greatly depending on the make/model/age of your computer and of your Internet browser software. For Internet Explorer users, try Tools -> Internet Options -> Advanced -> Microsoft VM, and ensure that 'JIT compiler for virtual machine enabled' is ticked on.
