What Group Fitness class is suitable for my level of fitness and co-ordination?

If you are confused about where to start when beginning Group Fitness, or if you are looking to increase your challenge, we have made the decision a little easier by giving each Group Fitness class a category number for choreography and intensity.

Key:

C= Choreography
I= Intensity
0-1= Very Easy
2-3= Easy
4-5= Average
6-7= Hard
7-9= Very Hard

ABS BLITZ
A 15 minute workout specifically targeting abdominal muscles.

BODY STEP ®
The fastest way to tone butts and thighs. About 2,000 steps up and down onto a platform!

BOXING FOR FITNESS
Focussed on improving cardio fitness, agility, power and strength. Boxing is the perfect way to let off steam in a motivating, friendly environment.

CIRCUIT
A mixed bag of body-blitzing exercises to improve strength and cardio fitness. Your instructor will take you on an empowering journey both in and outside the gym.

CYCLE
A high powered indoor freestyle cycle class. Your instructor chooses motivating music and takes you on an hour long journey with intensity determined by the resistance you set on your bike. Interval training which provides ultimate fat burning. (The POWER CYCLE class takes your fitness to the next level).

EXPRESS CLASSES (XP)
8:45am and 12:15pm Express classes are 40 minutes duration. 12:30pm and 1:00pm Cycle Express classes are 30 minutes duration

FREESTYLE STEP
Step moves choreographed to music chosen by the instructor. A challenging workout which requires a good level of coordination.

LIGHT & ACTIVE
Lighter paced, fun exercise to aid mobility, strength and co-ordination. Suitable for mature ages as well as those returning to exercise after injury or pregnancy. Includes a 10 minute meditation to finish. This class is provided at a reduced casual rate of $6.50.

LUNCH TIME EXPRESS CLASSES
On Monday, if your time is limited, you may choose either Body Pump Express/Cycle Express OR attend both classes for a 1hr 15min Super Workout. On Wednesday choose 30min Cycle or stay for the full hour.

PILATES
Movement which establishes correct recruitment of muscles and improved posture. Emphasis on core, spine and shoulder stability for functional strength and balance.

POWER CYCLE
This will get the heart rate up! Cycle is an indoor-bike ride that is proven to achieve faster weight loss than any other indoor exercise. Motivating music, crazy, fun, expert coaching, inches off bottom, stomach and thighs - what more could you want?

RPM ®
Take the ultimate indoor cycle ride to inspiring music. 50 minutes of interval training equivalent to a 20km ride through all terrains. (RPM HI-PERFORMANCE is 1hr duration).
