Lords new year’s weight loss challenge
The four contestants for the Lords new year’s weight loss challenge have been chosen with week two now underway.
Bridie’s weigh in on Monday morning was 85.70 kilograms, a loss of 2.6 kilograms!
A summary of Monday’s workout – run 500m at 10.5kph, walk two mins repeat four times. Walking lunges with bicep curls, ten push ups, lunges, six push ups, lunges, four push ups....row. This is termed an “easy” workout. Bridie still manages to fit two rounds of golf in between these gruelling workouts. Since the beginning of the competition she has also not drunk any alcohol and greasy food is a thing of the past!
Moira’s weigh in on Monday morning was 91.35 kilograms, a loss of 3.15 kilograms!
A summary of Monday’s workout – total body workout, back, chest and core stability. Rowing two 750m sprints. Moira describes her training as torture at times but she is still coming in every day including the days she does not have personal training with Aaron. Moira is enjoying the benefits of exercise and weight training and the process of learning about her body.
Mark’s weigh in on Monday morning was 105.10 kilograms, a loss of 2.6 kilograms!
A summary of Monday’s workout – cardio blast - interval training on the treadmill, cross trainer and rower. On Friday he will have an all over body workout using high repetitions and low weights. For his rest in between sets there will be boxing and burpies! Yay!
Shauna’s weigh in on Monday morning was 83.4 kilograms, a loss of 1.8 kilograms!
A summary of Monday’s workout – intervals on the bike, incline walking on the treadmill, own body weight exercises including step ups and push ups.
Hannah went to visit Shauna at home this week to help with exercising and nutrition at home. Hannah commented that Shauna’s pantry was excellent and that Shauna was doing very well.
