A team of more than ten Lords staff members will take part in the Lavan Legal Fit30 for Youth Focus challenge this September in support of youth mental health.
The team have each committed to complete thirty minutes of exercise every day for the thirty days of September, as well as seeking support from friends and family to fundraise for Youth Focus – an independent West Australian not-for-profit organisation working to end youth suicide. Find out more about them here.
Physical activity in any form is a great way to remain physically healthy as well as improving your mental wellbeing. Exercise influences the release and uptake of feel-good chemicals called endorphins in the brain, and even a short burst of exercise increases our mental alertness, energy and positive mood.
We’re excited to be helping such an important cause, and we’d love for you to join us!
How can you get involved?
Join in the Fit30 challenge with us. Set up your own fundraising page on the Youth Focus website, start fundraising and get ready to take part in the challenge. All Lords members who take part in the challenge and raise over $20 for Youth Focus will go into the draw to win one of three MYZONE belts.
Donate to the Lords fundraising page. All donations go straight to Youth Focus.
Help raise awareness of the important link between physical and mental health, and the vital work done by Youth Focus by speaking to your friends, family and co-workers.
We can’t wait to get started!
